City Tour

  • Intrigued by our rivals, enemies, conflicts and wars? Then this is a perfect tour for you!

Excursion description

The most important landmark of Dubrovnik is its well preserved defensive City walls and fortification system.
Republic of Dubrovnik was a small self-governed, independent city-state that managed to stay independent for 450 years in spite of being faced with much more powerful Empires. On this historic walking tour, you will walk along Dubrovnik’s most famous landmark, its city walls and fortresses where you can enjoy breathtaking views. Your guide will talk about how Dubrovnik managed to stay independent and develop into a strong city using no military but diplomacy, espionage and politics.

If you are interested in this World UNESCO’s monument, the most visited monument in Croatia, one that millions come to see while enjoying beautiful views, then you should definitely join one of our groups and start exploring.

This tour is steep due to stairs and walls that you are required to climb, therefore it might not be suitable for everyone. If you have any concerns please contact us/ come visit us.
